Love this place. The people seem quite nice, the view is incredible, the water is wonderful... There's an area just up the steps from the beach to wash off which is brilliant and toilets very close by. There are picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, and a place to buy food and drink.
MAIN CONCERN is I've heard from a few people that the lifeguards don't know life saving techniques as there was a recent incident where they pulled someone out of the water and didn't know what to do and simply said they were dead and were going to leave it at that. A nurse, thankfully, was on the beach and told them what to do whilst she performed CPR and brought the person back.
So in short - love the beach and facilities, but I wouldn't put my life in the hands of the life guards.
A beautiful beach to walk along. Toilet facilities with toilet and showers. Toilet block has great murals all around. Outdoor showers for washing off the sand. Close by is a great playground for the kids and the ANZAC memorial also well worth a visit. Such a beautiful place in the world.
Lovely park, lots of undercover areas to sit and enjoy the relaxing view. Playground and toilet facilities. Coffee place is next door also
Great for a day out, The beach is safe, family friendly and has wheelchair access and lifesavers on duty. The Honeybee collective coffee shop in the surf lifesaving club right on the beachfront make a divine brew that's absolutely to die for.
grab a pizza or your fish and chips or have a BBQ while the kids play on the playground or have a swim or play in the rock pools. it's beautiful or go on the ANZAC walk and learn abit of history
What a gorgeous and quiet place to visit. Humbling to see the memorials for our fallen. Beautiful sleepy town well away from the hustle and bustle. The singing ship is hauntingly beautiful.

Great spot, wonderful to see all the nippers and coaches out in the water training the next generation of life savers. Coffee was good, quick and a nice touch having one of the kids coming around with fresh slices of watermelon 🍉 , no charge. Just great. …

Great beach, nearly always empty of visitors, especially in the AM. SLS Club, change rooms and BBQs at one end.(the village area) Just a lovely spot.
